Operating System:

Select Your Operating System Media Kit. V240 Server ships with operating system pre-installed. 1.59GHz CPU's are supported by Solaris 9 or 10 only. End user is responsible for any licenses that may be required by manufacturer

Memory:

The Sun Fire V240 server supports four memory slots per processor and up to 16-GB of memory. This system configuration ships with 8-GB (8@1GB DIMMS) slots occupied, leaving no slots available. This configuration can support a maximum of 16-GB of memory. Memory must be installed in pairs of same size DIMMs but mixing of DIMM sizes between pairs is supported, however, performance will be reduced slightly.

Disk Drive:

The Sun Fire V240 server contains Four Ultra 3 SCSI LVD disk bays. The system configuration ships with two 146GB disk pre-installed, leaving two disk bays available for expansion. Mixing of drives sizes is permitted

DVD Rom Drive:

DVD Drive is optional with V240 server

Graphics Card:

Graphics card is optional with V240 server. Select card if you intend to connect server directly to a monitor

Warranty Upgrade for Hardware Only:

The Sun V240 Server comes standard with 1 year warranty direct from MCA. Warranty covers complete system against any hardware failures, provides immediate replacement against failed part.
