Select Your Operating System Media Kit. V440 Server ships with operating system pre-installed. End user is responsible for any licenses that may be required by manufacturer

Processors:

The Sun Fire V440 server supports up to 4 Ultra SPARC IIIi CPU's. This system ships with 2 1.28GHz Ultra SPARC IIIi CPU's, leaving space for additional 2 1.28GHz CPU/ 4GB Memory Board

Memory:

The Sun Fire V440 server supports 4 memory slots per processor and up to 8GB of memory per processor. This system configuration ships with 4-GB Memory (8x512MB DIMMS) pre-installed and 8 slots occupied, leaving no slots available for expansion. This configuration can support a maximum of 16-GB of memory. Memory must be installed in pairs of same size DIMMs but mixing of DIMM sizes between pairs is supported, however, performance will be reduced slightly.

Disk Drive:

The Sun Fire V440 server contains Four Ultra 3 SCSI LVD disk bays. This system configuration ships with Two 73GB disk pre-installed, leaving two disk bays available for expansion. Mixing of drives sizes is permitted

Graphics Card:

Graphics card is optional with V440 server. Select card if you intend to connect server directly to a monitor

Warranty Upgrade for Hardware Only:

The Sun V440 Server comes standard with 1 year warranty direct from MCA. Warranty covers complete system against any hardware failures, provides immediate replacement against failed part.
