The Sun Fire V490 server supports up to 2 Dual Ultra SPARC IV+ CPU/ Memory Modules. This system ships with 2 Dual 1.5GHz Ultra SPARC IV CPU/ 8GB Memory Module, leaving no additional slots.

Memory:

The V490 supports 8 memory slots (DIMMs) per processor, 16 total slots per CPU/Memory Board . This system configuration ships with a total of 16-GB Memory (32x512MB DIMMS) pre-installed, leaving no slots available for expansion. This 4-way CPU configuration can support a maximum of 32-GB of memory.

Disk Drive:

The Sun Fire V490 server contains Two FC-AL disk bays. This system configuration ships with Two 146GB disks pre-installed, leaving no available slots for expansion.

Graphics Card:

Graphics card is optional with V490 server. Select card if you intend to connect server directly to a monitor
